GATHERING OF BROTHERHOODS

It has been a tradition for the Picardie Consulte to gather brotherhoods in Pierrefonds on the third Sunday in May. This year, 21 brotherhoods and 70 people attended the event organized by Marta DELSAUX, Consul of Hauts de France – Picardy of the Order of Canardiers. At 8:30 a.m., the participants were welcomed with a traditional breakfast before the Chapter was opened and the various brotherhoods introduced themselves. In order to show their loyalty, certificates of friendship with the Canardiers were presented to a dozen participants. The morning ended with a stroll around the Château de Pierrefonds before a demonstration of Rouennaise Duckling by Master Canardier Charles-Richard DELSAUX. The fine weather enabled us to enjoy cocktails in the garden, followed by a meal, starting with buffets of raw vegetables, charcuterie, and seafood, followed by Rouennaise Duckling before cheese and dessert.
